Adam Barnes
Owner + Founder
Since making Nashville home in 2003, Adam Barnes has teased and sprayed stars from both stage and screen, owned and branded his own salon, and discovered a deep passion for educating others in the craft of hair.
With extensive training through Davines, Bumble & Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, Great Lengths, and multiple extension companies, Adam has developed a signature approach he playfully calls “hairapy”—a blend of expert technique, approachable humor, and genuine connection.
Whether it’s precision cutting, dimensional color, special event styling, creative work for photoshoots, or barbering with seamless fades, Adam brings a mix of showmanship, artistry, and technical excellence to every service.
Missy McCachern
Stylist
Born into a third-generation salon family, I grew up in my mother’s salon in Louisiana — basically living my own Steel Magnolias moment as Truvy Jones. After moving to Middle Tennessee in 2001 and beginning my professional career in 2011, I built my experience from the front desk to behind the chair, eventually earning my Master Colorist Certification with Alfaparf Milano along the way.
For the past decade, I’ve worked full-time as a stylist, focusing on healthy hair, personalized color, and creating a welcoming experience where clients feel comfortable, heard, and cared for. I’m proud to be part of the team at CRFTD Salon in Nashville’s Marathon Village, where creativity and community go hand in hand.
Education continues to inspire my work, especially through my passion for Davines and advanced extension training. Outside the salon, I love cooking, hosting friends with my husband Paul, spending time with our dogs Bear and Poncho, and enjoying our newest hobby — birding. I look forward to welcoming you into my chair and helping you feel your absolute best.
Taylor Smith

I have been behind the chair since 2014, creating hair that feels intentional, a little edgy, and completely tailored to my guest. I moved from a small town in Michigan to Nashville in 2018 and built my work around lived-in beauty with an edge.
I’m known for elevated bridal hair and makeup, modern razor cuts, men’s barbering, and dimensional fashion color—designed for clients who want something artistic, wearable, and a little transformative. Whether it’s soft and romantic or a full shift in energy, I love creating looks that feel like stepping into your most confident version of yourself. I keep my chair a calm, curated space where collaboration matters and every detail is considered. The goal is always hair that feels aligned, elevated, and effortlessly powerful.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually deep in a good book or out chasing live music.
Janaysha Garbutt
Apprentice
My passion for hairstyling began at an early age, growing up watching my mother and grandmother care for the hair of our family and community members. Those early experiences made hair a source of peace, creativity, and purpose in my life.
With roots in both African American and Hispanic cultures, and having lived in Dallas, Nashville, and Miami, I love drawing inspiration from a diverse range of artistic and cultural influences. I specialize in hair color and extensions, focusing on customized, transformative results that enhance each client's natural beauty.
My mission is to help my guests feel confident and beautiful from the moment they sit in my chair by using my craft to uplift, empower, and inspire.
Haley Tucker
Stylist
I’m new to Nashville, but not to hair! I’ve had 11 years of experience behind the chair and am so excited to build connections with clients in my new city! I specialize in custom color transformations, multiple extension methods, event styling, and personalized haircuts designed to complement each guest’s unique features, and lifestyle.
In 2023, I joined Davines as a Trainer, growing my passion for education, sustainable beauty, and elevated salon experiences. I love bringing that knowledge and artistry directly to my guests.
Outside of the salon, you can usually find me traveling, trying new restaurants, or spending time with animals.
I’m incredibly excited to welcome new faces into my chair and can’t wait to meet you!

I’m a passionate stylist specializing in long hair, dimensional color, and extensions. I love creating soft, natural-looking transformations that enhance your beauty and give you the hair you’ve always wanted. Healthy, beautiful hair is always the goal.

Our very own singer-songwriter homegrown here in Tennessee. She’s spent over half of her life performing and continues that career while being the best salon manager anyone could ask for.
